I know I should write this in French but, despite Hélène's considerable talents as a french teacher, I don't think I can do her justice in French. Hélène and Family (the Famous Five?) are amazing hosts, I felt at home and comfortable with them from the first minute - even Kickass the Cuddly Canine became my best friend within minutes. Hélène puts in 100%, whether it be french lessons, delicious meals or tours of various parts of the city. She also used the time touring the city to correct my grammar mistakes and never let up with my repetitive mistakes. I was also able to take part in lively family conversations which helped me practice listening to and understanding voices other than Hélène's. In short, Hélène's teaching, touring and cooking skills made for a wonderful and productive week and I already miss my life in Lyon. Warmly recommend and very grateful, merci encore Hélène.
